BIGBANG is to kick off their impending comeback by holding a special time with their fans through a LIVE streaming event.

On May 29, YG Entertainment revealed a new poster on their official blog announcing, “BIGBANG COUNTDOWN LIVE.” which will happen an hour before the release of their new single, “Made Series-A,” on June 1.

Fans will be able to join BIGBANG by streaming the event through portal site Naver at 11 p.m. KST, as shown in the poster.

YG also revealed the official “Made Series-A” track list poster via official SNS accounts and YG E-SHOP. The album includes the new tracks, “BANG BANG BANG” and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY,” and also “LOSER” and “BAE BAE,” which were released in “Made Series-M” in May.

If you want to join BIGBANG as they count down to their to-be-released single, make sure to tune into the event on June 1, at 11 p.m. KST.

After a three year hiatus from group activities in Korea, BIGBANG made bold plans to release new music every month for five months. Their May releases “Bae Bae” and “Loser” took over music charts, giving them a very strong start. In just a few more days on June 1, BIGBANG will release their next set of songs “BANG BANG BANG“ and  “We Like 2 Party.”  

Yesterday, EXO revealed a June 3 release date of their repackaged album “Love Me Right.” They previously released their album “EXODUS” at the end of March and swept charts with title track “Call Me Baby.” 

Both groups are set to release an upbeat track, aiming to have the first big dance hit of the summer. BIGBANG said that their song would have the exciting energy of their past hit “Fantastic Baby,” while EXO’s song was also described as a upbeat dance track, perfect for the summer. It will be a very exciting chart battle as it is the first time they will have to go directly against one another.  

We had a similar SM Entertainment - YG Entertainment battle last year with Girls’ Generation releasing their “Mr. Mr.” EP on February 24 and 2NE1 releasing their “Crush” album on February 27. Both releases did very well, but  Girls’ Generation was able to reach #5 on Gaon’s year-end 2014 album chart while 2NE1 was #33.

Other exciting group comebacks planned for June include Girls’ Generation, MBLAQ, SISTAR, Teen Top, and Nine Muses. 2PMwas originally intended to make their comeback on June 1, but had to delay due to problems with music video shooting.
