Yang Hyun Suk establishes ‘YG Foundation’ followed by 1 billion won ($975,000) donation!

Celebrating its 18th anniversary, YG Entertainment announced on May 20 that it established a nonprofit corporate foundation, ‘ownerless YG foundation,’ which has been Yang Hyun Suk’s long-cherished desire.

The foundation was established due to Yang Hyun Suk’s strong desire to actively help out children and teenagers in need.

‘Ownerless’ (??) in Chinese characters signifies having no owner but it also means that there is ‘no stay,’ which signifies that the organization will constantly pursue changes and innovation for better present and future.

Yang Hyun Suk said, “I’m very happy that the foundation is finally established so I can make contributions.”
