m.i.a and g-dragon rap on new baauer track temple

Having dropped the controversial video for Borders a month ago, M.I.A is back with fresh verses on Baauer's new track Temples. Not as explicitly political as Borders, which references the refugee crisis, there is still a topical, anti-war message in the Temples lyrics: "Step into my temple and you see me on my throne / Gold on the dome, don't drop that drone".

South Korean rapper G-Dragon, who is a regular on the Chanel front row, also features on Temples, which will appear on Baauer's debut album, Aa, scheduled to drop 18 March. The American producer has worked with a number of other collaborators on the album, including Novelist, Future, Rustie and Pusha T.

Baauer was recently unveiled as part of Alexander Wang's #WANGSQUAD alongside fellow musicians Travis Scott, Alice Glass, Aluna Francis of AlunaGeorge and CL, and models Binx Walton, Anna Ewers, Molly Bair, Issa Lish and more. The #WANGSQUAD campaign is set to drop around the same time as the album, mid-March.
