Following negative drug test results, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon has announced strong legal action against malicious posts.

On November 21, it was reported that the National Institute of Forensic Science recently notified the Incheon Police Agency’s drug crime investigation unit that a detailed analysis of G-Dragon’s fingernails and toenails tested negative for drugs. Previously, G-Dragon received negative results on both the initial reagent test and comprehensive analysis on his urine and hair samples.

On November 22, G-Dragon’s legal representative released a statement announcing that they are preparing legal action against various malicious posts and comments.

This is lawyer Kim Soo Hyun, Kwon Ji Yong’s (G-Dragon’s real name) legal representative.

We are currently taking legal action against those who posted malicious posts including defamation, insults, sexual harassment, spread of false information, and malicious slander against Kwon Ji Yong.

We are preparing to submit multiple complaints to investigative agencies by collecting evidence of acts that violate Kwon Ji Yong’s rights and interests such as insults and defamation through self-monitoring and reports from fans, and we plan to respond with a no-tolerance policy.

We will continue to hold the suspects accountable and take strong action without any settlement or leniency.

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon, who is being suspected of drug use, tested negative for the drug test done on his hair sample.

According to Yonhap News on November 20, the National Institute of Forensic Science recently conducted a detailed analysis of G-Dragon’s hair sample, confirming that it tested negative for drugs, and notified the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency’s Narcotics Unit. The results of his fingernail and toenail analyses have not been released yet.

Previously on November 6, G-Dragon voluntarily went to the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency’s Narcotics Unit and was interrogated for about four hours. On this day, the police conducted an initial reagent test on G-Dragon and collected urine and hair samples for comprehensive analysis by the National Forensic Service. The results for the preliminary drug test came out negative on the same day, and the police further collected G-Dragon’s hair and fingernails and sent them to the National Forensic Service for detailed analysis.
