[?????=??? ??] YG president YANG HYUN SUK’s imaginations are always realized.

Group BIGBANG dominated June’s chart of Korea’s official Gaon chart. They actually took a triple crown. “BANG BANG BANG” that the team released on June 1 took the No.1 on the monthly digital, download, and streaming chart of Gaon.

EXO’s “Love Me Right”, Baek Ah-yeon’s “Shouldn’t Have”, BIGBANG’s “WE LIKE 2 PARTY”, and IU’s “Heart” took the second, third, fourth, and fifth place, respectively, on the digital chart.

BIGBANG’s “LOSER” released in May also took a triple crown on May’s monthly chart of Gaon. So, BIGBANG swept all the top places on Gaon’s monthly chart during May and June. “IF YOU” released in July also took the No.1 on the weekly digital and download chart for the 28th week of this year (June 28 – July 4), recording a consistent success.

BIGBANG planned “MADE SERIES” in which they release new songs on the 1 of every month from May to August and finally a full-length album in September. Then, YANG talked about his goal to reporters, “If I had a wish, I want BIGBANG take the No.1 on the monthly chart form May to September”.

He went on to set the goal for this year, saying, “I want BIGBANG to receive all the album’s song’ and singer’s awards at the end-of-year music awards. I’ll do my best for promotion and make all BIGBANG songs achieve success”.

The plan of YANG and BIGBANG has come just the half way. The bold plan of releasing new songs every month from May to September is being realized, even “very successfully”. YANG’s imaginations always come true.

G-DRAGON is drawing a big attention, by posting his photo taken with world’s hottest artists, designers, and actors on his SNS on the 8. The ones on the left-side of GD is musician Kanye (the one at the end of the left side) and designer Haider Ackermann, and the one on the right-side is Tilda Swinton who acted in “Snowpiercer”.



G-DRAGON’s personal connections are thought to be the best in Korea. As the leader of BIGBANG who is now recognized as a world star, G-DRAGON is expanding his artistic exchanges in a variety of field not just as a musician, but also in areas such as contemporary art and fashion. He is also the only Asian star who is invited to every Chanel show as a VIP. 



GD is also one of the favorite artists of YANG HYUN SUK, the head producer of YG Entertainment.
