BigBang, Smooth K-Pop Criminals, Bring ‘Made’ to Newark

In the elaborate, stylish video trailer for BigBang’s new tour, this K-pop megastar boy band appears in its own highly stylized Tarantino flick, full of screeching cars, curvaceous women dancing in dimly lit spaces and threats of imminent violence. It’s safe to say that won’t be replicated onstage when the tour comes to the Prudential Center in Newark on Oct. 10 and 11. Partly that’s because onstage, BigBang is more theatrical than moody, and partly because several of the group’s recent singles — songs like “We Like 2 Party” and “Loser” — are notably more mellow than its hyperkinetic early work.

Those new songs mark the end of a three-year hiatus for BigBang and are part of the roll-up to its forthcoming album, “Made” (YG). This tour takes its name from that album and may also be the last time the full BigBang five perform as a unit before, one by one, they enlist for mandatory South Korean military service. Hot or Not: G-Dragon’s Fashion Choices

We all know and adore the outrageously talented G-Dragon of BIGBANG. Apart from being an amazing rapper, singer, composer, and producer, he is also known as one of the biggest fashion icons in Korea. In recent years, his fame has spread far beyond the K-pop community and into the world of fashion designers and global trendsetters. As a result, he has become a front row staple for fashion shows like Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Yves St. Laurent, and more.

Known for his trendy street and airport styles, his bold outfits for stage and music videos, and his love of luxury brands and bling, he is a star who is versatile in all things fashion related. As with all fashionistas, though, there are some major misses among all those hits. In the gallery below, we’ve included 20 of G-Dragon’s famous outfits and looks, from fashion shows appearances to his every day street style. Vote on each page of the gallery to let us know which ones were totally hot (and which ones were totally not).
