YouTube has revealed the most popular videos on their platform in Korea this year!

As 2022 wraps up, YouTube shared its list of the 10 music videos released this year that garnered the most views within Korea. The list only consists of music videos uploaded to YouTube in 2022, and only views by YouTube users in Korea count toward the list. The data was collected from January 1 to October 30.

2. PSY – “That That (prod. & feat. Suga of BTS)”
3. BIGBANG – “Still Life”
4. (G)I-DLE – “TOMBOY”
5. Im Young Woong – “Our Blues, Our Life”
6. BLACKPINK – “Pink Venom”
7. IVE – “After LIKE”
8. GOT the beat – “Step Back” Stage Video
9. IVE – “LOVE DIVE”
10. Lim Young Woong – “Rainbow”

Furthermore, in the overall list of most-watched videos in Korea that were uploaded to YouTube in 2022, the viral “soulless rap” of a now-famous cast member at the Korean amusement park Everland topped the list at No. 1 with Taeyeon’s “Killing Voice Live” coming in close behind at No. 2.

NewJeans’s August 5 “Music Bank” performance of “Attention” came in at No. 3, while Lee Young Ji’s drunk interview with ITZY’s Chaeryeong placed No. 4. At No. 5 is Short Box’s comedy sketch “Should we just go to a motel?” and No. 6 is Korean Englishman’s video “Son Heung Min introduces the best Korean BBQ to Spurs player.”

Kim Jong Kook’s YouTube channel video “Finally, Yoo Jae Suk visits GYM Jong Kook” ranked at No. 7, while Kang Min Kyung’s YouTube video “Davichi’s big sister’s wedding day” placed at No. 8. At No. 9 is STUDIO WAFFLE’s “What talk? You just get 5 mil impersonations on Joo Hyun Young Special,” and rounding out the list at No. 10 is “Meenoi’s Yorizori Season2 EP.5 BE’O.”
