YG BIGBANG X BLACKPINK With 27 Videos Over 100 Million Views, ‘Dominant Global Viewing Power’

[디지털이슈팀=유병철기자] Choreography videos by YG Entertainment’s BIGBANG and JENNIE have surpassed 100 million views, proving their unrivaled presence on YouTube.

On February 25 at 8 PM, JENNIE’s ‘SOLO’ CHOREOGRAPHY UNEDITED VERSION video surpassed 100 million views, in 102 days since the video was released. Today(26^th) at 3 AM, BIGBANG’s choreography video of ‘BANG BANG BANG’ also surpassed 100 million views.

While it is hard for artists to surpass 100 million views with a MV, BIGBANG and JENNIE surpassed 100 million views with not only their MV, but also with their choreography videos, proving their global popularity.

With the dance video’s surpassing of 100 million views, BIGBANG now has 16 videos with over 100 million views including the MVs for ‘FANTASTIC BABY’, ‘BANG BANG BANG’, ‘BAD BOY’, ‘BLUE’, and ‘BAE BAE’.

The MV for GD X TAEYANG’s ‘GOOD BOY’ surpassed 200 million views while G-DRAGON’s ‘WHO YOU’, TAEYANG’s ‘RINGA LINGA’, and BIGBANG’s ‘SOBER’ and ‘HARU HARU’ surpassed 100 million views during BIGBANG’s enlistment period, proving the group’s unchanging influence in the K-Pop scene.

With JENNIE’s ‘SOLO’ choreography video surpassing 100 million views, BLACKPINK now has a total of 11 videos with over 100 million views on YouTube including ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ which is about to reach 700 million views, and ‘AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST’ and ‘BOOMBAYAH’ which surpassed 500 million views.

Furthermore, a total of 4 choreography videos released by BLACKPINK in addition to JENNIE’s ‘SOLO’ CHOREOGRAPHY UNEDITED VERSION including ‘DDU-DU DD-DU’, ‘AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST’, and ‘BOOMBAYAH’ have all surpassed 100 million views, proving the global fans’ heated interest on BLACKPINK’s performances.
