PD Of “I Live Alone” Shares Why He Was Surprised By BIGBANG’s Taeyang After Filming With Him

The preview for the episode showed a completely different side to Taeyang than what fans are used to seeing on stage, as it showed him in a completely comfortable state lounging around all day in his pajamas like a grandpa. The PD said, “His home life is very different than what people may think a star idol’s life would be like.”

The PD continued, “Taeyang really emphasizes the importance of clothing, food, and shelter. When he’s at home, he tries to be as comfortable as possible and only wears pajamas. He’s learning how to cook Korean food because spending so much time abroad has made his body weaker. I thought that he would just order delivery food all the time but he tries very hard to make sure he eats well for each meal, which was surprising to me.”

In the preview, BIGBANG’s Daesung and Seungri visited Taeyang and ended up having a wild pajama dance party at his apartment. The PD explained, “Because of their individual schedules, the members haven’t really been able to meet after their concert but were able to meet up recently.”

Meanwhile, the episode of MBC’s “I Live Alone” featuring BIGBANG’s Taeyang will air tonight, August 18 at 11:10 p.m. KST.
