[Special issue of STARCAST’s 1st Anniversary] 2014 Paris Fashion Week Show Hall & Best Styling chosen by G-Dragon&Taeyang

 
G-DRAGON x TAEYANG IN PARIS 2014



 
 ‘Best friend’, G-Dragon and Taeyang were invited to ‘2014 Paris Fashion Week’ last January. They are ‘hot’ stars who always get spotlight as stylish KPOP artists. We are curious of their story of meeting global fashion creators by watching the global fashion brand’s fashion show. Shall we show hall and styling directly chosen by G-Dragon and Taeyang? 
 
1. SAINT LAURENT
 
G-DRAGON’S TALK
 
‘SAINT LAURENT Show’ was held at Invalides which is known for where Napoleon is buried. Our images of us sitting at the front row wearing SAINT LAURENT’s stylish clothes were shot a lot. ^^

I liked the feeling of those pictures posted on SNS after the show, having freeness of stylish France fashion people. I also felt our styling were worth since it matched with the show concept.

2. CHANEL
 
G-DRAGON’S TALK
 
I was so touched to meet respectful designer, Karl Lagerfeld.
We wanted to show our own funky style even though neat suit comes up when ‘CHANEL’ is thought. I wore ripped jeans, bold necklace and woolen hat, and Taeyang styled himself with chains.
We were also invited at CHANEL’s apartment where Gabrielle Chanel once lived and where creative director, Karl Lagerfeld’s office and master artisan’s studio is now. We could feel the sense of nobility, elegance and the harmony of the east and the west. It was also meaningful since we could meet SOO JOO who is a model of CHANEL now at the apartment. ^^

G-Dragon&Taeyang got attention wherever they went including leading foreign press.

3. RICK OWENS
 
TAEYANG’S TALK
 
RICK OWENS Show, which was held at Palais de Chaillot where Tour Eiffel can be seen well, was somewhat powerful.
We wanted to show RICK OWENS’s unique modern and avant-garde feeling. I wore knit which I like usually and leather pants, and G-Dragon wore RICK OWENS’s jacket and shirt. G-Dragon expressed his own fashion identity by putting on a broad-brimmed hat and cross earrings.
 
 
G-Dragon who has appeared at RICK OWENS Show! He looks great with his hat and he has an eye for his cross earrings.
Doesn’t Taeyang have shining eyes with his knit and leather pants worn?

4. JUUN.J
 
 TAEYANG’S TALK
 
‘JUUN.J’ is a brand made by designer Jung Wook Jun. We feel self-conceit whenever looking at JUUN.J show. We know how stylish JUUN.J’s clothes are since we wear them a lot usually. We sat at the front row wearing all white color of JUUN.J’s clothes. Many people gave attention to us since we were in all white from top to toe. We had a different experience from standing at the stage.
