BIGBANG Soars On Charts In China And Japan As They Walk Their “Flower Road”

On March 13 at 6 p.m. KST, BIGBANG released their special single, “Flower Road,” a song dedicated to their fans. G-Dragon and T.O.P personally penned the lyrics before their enlistments, and comforts fans saying that they will meet again soon.

Soon after its release, the song topped all major domestic realtime charts, and less than 24 hours later on March 14, it achieved a certified all-kill. In addition to its domestic success, “Flower Road” also has been receiving much love from all around the world, and topped iTunes Top Songs Charts in 28 countries.

BIGBANG also swept charts in China and Japan with their new release. On March 15, “Flower Road” was finally released on iTunes Japan and also recorded first place on its Top Song chart on the same day. The song also achieved first on two charts of QQ Music, a Chinese music platform with 400 million users.

In addition to their success with “Flower Road,” BIGBANG marked first place on Oricon’s daily overall DVD chart as well as the daily music DVD chart with their “BIGBANG Japan Dome Tour 2017 – Last Dance -” DVD on March 15. Released on March 14, the concert DVD contains footage from the group’s last dome tour in Japan before they enlisted.
