BIGBANG fans demand apology from BTS for ‘copying’ T.O.P’s performance

BTS is wrapped up in plagiarism accusations regarding BIGBANG.
On February 22, ‘The 6th GAON Chart Music Awards’ took place. Many K-Pop artists joined the ceremony and among them were BTS. The group performed “Save Me” and “Blood, Sweat & Tears”.
After watching their stage, BIGBANG fans in Korea claimed that BTS has copied the setup and concept from T.O.P’s ‘no signal’ performance. As you can see below, BTS’ stage starts off with the ‘no signal’ screens, similar to T.O.P’s solo performance at BIGBANG’s concerts.

This is not the first time BTS is accused of copying BIGBANG. Last year in May, VIPs and ARMYs around the world got into a heated debate about BTS’ alleged plagiarism.

Korean VIPs are upset and furious and they believe BTS continues to “copy.” Because of this, they are demanding an apology with the hashtag #노_시그널_사과해주세요, meaning #No_Signal_Please apologize.
Currently, many BIGBANG fans are expressing anger with comments, “BIGBANG was first to apply ‘no signal’ into their performance. You have to accept the truth”, “YG need to take legal action”, “They copy everything!”, “Why are they keep copying! Let’s cheer up TT”
On the other hand, some netizens commented, “Hul~ lol this is unbelievable. This is too far of a stretch,” “BIGBANG didn’t invent sh*t. Why should they apologize, “Do a search for ‘no signal’ and you will get millions of results. Overreaction at its finest.”

You can check out BTS’ controversial ‘no signal’ stage setup in the clip above.
